Skin rejuvenation
Three dermatologist-selected facial treatments for glow, clarity and tone: Bela MD+ for deep cleansing and hydration, Juvasonic for serum absorption and Fotoage for light-based rejuvenation.
A medical facial uses medical-grade technology and ingredients to improve skin health, not just to relax. At Dermagnify there are three: Bela MD+, a 6-in-1 platform that cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates; Juvasonic, which uses ultrasonic vibration and red light to drive serums deeper; and Fotoage, an in-office light mask that targets tone, redness and firmness.
Dull, dehydrated, congested or aging skin comes from a mix of causes: dead cell buildup, clogged pores, environmental damage, oxidative stress and declining collagen. Traditional facials can give temporary improvement, but they lack the technology and medical-grade ingredients to deliver lasting change.
All three treatments are non-invasive and comfortable, with no downtime. Dr. Cappel chooses the treatment, serums or light colors to match your concerns. Juvasonic is designed to be added to other treatments, such as PRP or microneedling, to get more from them.
Three treatments
Each one does a different job, and Dr. Cappel matches the treatment to your skin.
Six technologies in one 45 to 60 minute session to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and protect. Best for dull, congested, dehydrated or blemish-prone skin and an immediate glow.
A needle-free add-on, 15 to 30 minutes, that boosts absorption of regenerative serums such as exosomes, PDRN, peptides and PRP.
A 20 to 30 minute session under a four-color light mask, paired with Skinox topicals, for collagen, redness, pigmentation and blemish-prone skin.
Fotoage light colors
The Fotoage mask has four independent treatment zones, so several concerns can be treated in one session.
Energizes skin cells to boost collagen and elastin, improving firmness, smoothing fine lines and supporting tissue repair.
Calms redness, reduces inflammation and soothes reactive or sensitive skin.
Helps inhibit excess melanin production to improve dark spots and uneven tone.
Works at the epidermal level to support clearer, healthier-looking skin when breakouts are a concern.
Bela MD+ is a medical-grade skin health platform. It begins with an Aqua Cleansing handpiece fitted with one of three diamond tips, which removes dead skin cells while delivering a bio-infusion serum through the tip and suctioning debris from the pores. Hydrogen water then adds antioxidant protection, and electroporation pushes serums deeper.
Four bio-infusion serums let us tailor the treatment: bCLEAR for acne and excess oil, bEVEN for pigmentation and photodamage, bCALM for hydration and bBRIGHT for brightening. Most patients see brighter, smoother, more hydrated skin after the first visit, with the best results after 4 to 6 sessions every two to four weeks, then monthly maintenance.
Patients often ask how it compares with HydraFacial. We do not offer HydraFacial; for comparison only, it is a 3-in-1 treatment (cleansing, exfoliation and serum infusion), while Bela MD+ combines six technologies in one session.
The skin's outer layer, the stratum corneum, is built to keep things out, so even advanced serums often stay on the surface. Juvasonic is a patent-pending, FDA-registered Class I device that uses focused ultrasonic vibration (phonophoresis) with red light to open temporary micropathways, increasing skin permeability by up to 1000% so actives reach the deeper layers.
It is offered as an add-on to a base treatment such as exosomes, PDRN (polynucleotides), PRP, peptides or medical-grade serums, and after microneedling. It is a comfortable alternative for patients who dislike injections. You feel a gentle vibration and warmth, like a massage, for 15 to 30 minutes, with no downtime afterward. Its clinical research is published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology.
Fotoage is an in-office light device that uses High Density Diode (HDD) technology. It emits pure, monochromatic light that concentrates more energy over a larger area than conventional LEDs. The mask adapts to the contours of the face and neck.
For photobiodynamic therapy, each light color is paired with a targeted Skinox photosensitive product to enhance and customize the result. You relax under the mask while the selected colors run, feel only gentle warmth, and return to normal activities straight away. Radiance and tone often improve soon after treatment, with firmness and texture building over the following weeks across a series.
If Skinox products are used, follow Dr. Cappel's guidance on sun protection afterward.
Treatment overview
Dr. Cappel assesses your skin and goals, then selects the treatment, serums or light colors that suit you.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Reschedule if you have an active cold sore or skin infection, and avoid heavy sun before Fotoage.
A comfortable, spa-like session of 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment.
No downtime. Any mild redness or warmth fades within minutes to a few hours.
Bela MD+ is typically 4 to 6 sessions every two to four weeks. Fotoage works best as a series; Juvasonic follows your base treatment.
Monthly Bela MD+ visits or periodic Fotoage sessions keep skin at its best as natural aging and sun exposure continue.
